Before

Get the landowner’s permission in writing.
Write a one-page safety plan: hazards, who is in charge, first aid, what to do if it rains.
Check your group’s insurance covers this.
Choose a supplier programme or a wholesale grower (e.g. Misa, Apex Pines wholesale).
Set price and delivery area.

While it runs

Open online orders with payment.
Close orders and order trees to the count.
Plan delivery runs by suburb.
Offer January collection of old trees as an add-on.

After

Thank the supplier.
Bank the money and record it in the books.
Tell supporters what you raised and what it will pay for.

Watch out for

Late ordering when growers sell out.

Only cut trees with the landowner's written permission. Plan driver and loading safety for youth members; check the group's insurance covers members' vehicles on deliveries.

Ticks are saved in this browser only.
