Who this is
Demo Rugby Club runs this meat-pack fundraiser and takes your payment. Under the Privacy Act 2020, Demo Rugby Club is the "agency" responsible for the personal information collected on this site — not the developer who built it, and not any other organisation.
What we collect
When you order, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. That is all — nothing more.
There is no account and no password. You do not log in. Every order is a one-off guest checkout, matched later to your name for pickup.
Why we collect it
We use your name, email, and phone only to process your order, confirm it, contact you about pickup, and hand your pack over to the right person. We do not use it for anything else.
We do not send promotional emails, run a mailing list, or use your details for advertising. Nobody's information is sold or shared with anyone for advertising, and this site does not use analytics or ad trackers.
Cookies
This site does not set any cookies on your device as a buyer. The only cookie in use anywhere on the site is a session cookie for the club's admin login, and that is set solely in the pages the club committee uses to manage orders — it has nothing to do with your order or your browsing as a customer.
Payment
Card details never touch this site. When you pay, you are sent to our payment provider's own secure page to enter your card. This site only receives a pass or fail result back — never any part of your card.
Where your information is stored — overseas disclosure
Your order details — your name, email, and phone number — are stored with Supabase, on servers in Sydney, Australia.
Order confirmation emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery service. To send you that email, Resend processes your email address and the contents of the message on servers outside New Zealand.
Under Information Privacy Principle 12 of the Privacy Act 2020 we tell you plainly when your information goes overseas. It does: to those two service providers, and to nobody else, solely so we can run this fundraiser and email you about your order.
How long we keep it
We keep order records, including your name, email, and phone number, for 6 months after the fundraiser, then delete them. We do not keep your details for longer than we need them.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask Demo Rugby Club what personal information we hold about you (access), and ask us to correct it if it is wrong (correction). To do either, contact [CLUB TO SUPPLY: contact name and email/phone for privacy requests].
If something goes wrong
If there is a privacy breach involving your information that is likely to cause you serious harm, Demo Rugby Club will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner, as required under the Privacy Act 2020.
