Demo Rugby Club is running a meat raffle alongside the meat-box fundraiser. Tickets are $2.00, and every dollar goes to: junior teams end-of-season tournament travel.

How to get a ticket

  1. Buy from any club member, at training, at the clubrooms or at the meat-box pickup. Raffle tickets are sold in person only. By law they can’t be sold online or by message.
  2. Keep your ticket. It’s your proof of entry. The seller keeps the stub with your name and phone number.
  3. Scan the QR code on your ticket (optional) to add your name, phone and email online. That way we can reach you even if the stub’s handwriting is hard to read.

The draw

Fri, 11 Dec 2026, 5:00 pm at Demo Rugby Clubrooms, at the meat-box pickup. Sales close Thu, 10 Dec 2026, 6:00 pm. Anyone can come and watch. Winners are drawn at random from sold tickets only, using a method anyone can check afterwards.

Results: On this website, the club Facebook page, and winners phoned. See the official raffle page.

1,250 tickets offered. Run by Demo Rugby Club Inc (organiser: Jane Smith (Treasurer)) under New Zealand’s rules for Class 2 raffles. Winners have 3 months to claim. If tickets sell out, the club may run a separate second raffle after this draw, with its own prize and tickets.
